The Details
1. Form a small group of friends and family.
- You may start a YLMA at your school, recreational center, or church.
- The goal is to connect with people you know.
2. Meet at a local library.
- Locations may vary (schools, churches, recreation centers, or meet at an area of mutual interest).
- Virtual meetings are acceptable if your group cannot meet in person.
3. Share and Learn.
- Topics may include: best practices for studying, history lessons, debates on issues, character education, etc.
- Scholars can present topics and share what they learned.
4. Meet with your group monthly.
- Meetings may be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
- Ensure your meeting time is at a convenient time for members.
5. Spread the Good News.
- Leverage social media to inform others.
- Use our forms to measure success.
